Ithaca Le Bleu at Teresa’s Next Door: I love, love, love this beer. It’s great both on tap (BCWC at Iron Hill) or from the bottle like it was served here. Le Bleu is tart and funky and wild like an almost ripe blueberry picked during a hiking trek in Maine. They also had Groundbreak Saison, White Gold, Cold Front, and Flower Power among others.
Same night, still getting funkdafied. Union Jack’s Manatawny was serving up Jolly Pumpkin Oro de Calabaza (8% golden ale with wild yeast, spicy and a little peppery) and Bam Biere (farmhouse session beer, dry-hopped and spicy), both delicious.
And finally, Saturday at TJ’s for their cask event. [bad beer joke] What are all these firkin people doing here? [/joke]
