LT has agreed to play for the NY Jets just 2 months after the Jets ended the Chargers season in a 17-14 game to advance to the AFC Title game.  It was the surprise upset of the playoffs, and his season wasn’t as productive as in years past but after 9 years in the blue and gold, it’ll be sad to see him representing another team.  The Jets released Thomas Jones (looking for $5.8M) then signed LT to a 2 year ($5.2M plus another half a mil in incentives) contract and though both have had great years in the past, Jones had twice as many yards (1402 versus 730) on 108 more carries as LT last year.   At least LT may have a little more support with blocking than he has had in San Diego.  As long as he stays healthy, he should be more productive than last year.  Since LT is not just a great player but a wonderful role model, something so rare to find in the NFL, I wish him all the luck in the world.  And hopefully he just “forgets” how good he is next time he’s up against the Bolts!
